Can You Get Funding For Your Digital Adoption Project?

Short Answer: Yes! with the Canada Digital Adoption Program

Digital Adoption Options‎

The Canadian Digital Adoption Program (DAP) is a broad initiative that provides funding for a wide range of projects aimed at helping businesses boost their productivity and competitiveness through technology. Any business process that can be supported by technology is eligible for funding under the DAP, making it a great way to get started on your digital transformation journey.

Projects can include implementation or upgrades to your:

  • CRM
  • ERP
  • Accounting
  • Operations
  • Digital Media
  • Data Collection
  • Analytics
  • Spreadsheets
  • Forms
  • Workflows
  • Automation
  • Supply Chain and Logistics
  • and Many More!

There are Several Projects Our Company Wants To Complete...

That's great! You can perform all of them under the Digital Adoption Program. The DAP addresses all the issues you want to solve using technology in your business. Where you start is with the digital adoption plan, so any problems you need to address will be planned out from the beginning. If your business cannot get to all the projects, then your Digital Advisor would be able to help break down which would be the most important for your business and have the most significant impact.

Can I do the plan on my own?

Unfortunately no. You will need an approved Digital Advisor to help create your digital adoption plan. After that, you can take that information and perform your digital adoption in whichever way you see fit. But, advisors can help execute projects as well.

What Do I Need To Get Started?

You need a Canadian business with gross revenue of over $500,00 in one of the last three years with less than 500 employees. Then the next step is to get the application started. Once the application is completed, you can go through one of the digital advisors to get your plan. To receive your grant, you must submit that plan, and then be reimbursed.

What is the Canada Digital Adoption Program (CDAP)?

Small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) are the backbone of the Canadian economy, accounting for 98 percent of all businesses and employing more than 90 percent of the private sector workforce. To stay competitive and grow, SMBs need to adopt new digital tools. The Canada Digital Adoption Program (CDAP) is a Government of Canada initiative that helps SMBs overcome barriers to adopting digital technologies. The CDAP offers financial support, expert advice and training, and access to a network of digital service providers. Learn more about CDAP and application requirements.
