What was broken
Every bid starts with a takeoff. Superior’s estimators measured each roof by hand from the blueprints, slowly, one file at a time.
What shipped
Roof Pro turns an uploaded architectural PDF into a measured roof, a takeoff summary and a branded quote. It reads the title block, finds the roof plan in a multi-page set and cross-checks the scale before any measuring starts. Estimators now work on several estimates at once. It runs on Claude and a custom roofing line classifier, with 80–90% usable accuracy on real production files. It gets smarter with every estimate.
The constraint
Nothing goes out without an estimator’s sign-off.
Who uses it
Superior’s estimators. They accept or reject each roof face and can add their own line categories and colours. Every correction and every completed estimate feeds training. A built-in shred clock tracks time per estimate to support SR&ED documentation. The result is a proprietary roofing AI asset that belongs to Superior.
